Specialising in Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries
Kirk Russell is a Chartered Physiotherapist with nearly 20 years experience of working at the highest level of sport, including the England Cricket Team, Tottenham Hotspur FC, Northampton Saints, and most recently the London Olympics.
I provide physiotherapy and treatment for sports injuries, workplace injuries and sports massage throughout the Bath and London areas. I also run Sports Assessment Clinics for running and cycling.
I strongly believe in getting to the root cause of your problems as well as treating your immediate symptoms, with a treatment program unique to you. I also believe that prevention is better than a cure. I don’t just offer a reactive service but provide you with the tools to prevent any problems reoccurring.
So whether you have common back pain, a sports injury, work-related aches or recovering from an accident or surgery, I aim to help you recover and restore your quality of life.
Kirk Russell Physiotherapy & Sports Injuries is recognised by all Major Health Insurance Companies.

Daniel has been a chartered physiotherapist for 3 years since graduating from UWE University. He works full time in the NHS as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist where he experiences working with different people of all ages, with a variety of conditions. This can include anything from post op, sporting injuries, tendons, to complex pain. This role includes liaison with local GP’s and orthopaedic services. Daniel has a real passion for sporting rehab and currently also works part-time for Southampton Football club academy at Bath University, having previously worked at Odd Down FC and Bristol City FC. He very much enjoys guiding strengthening rehab, combined with manual therapy, to restore function, reduce pain and limit the risk of future injury.
Dani has been a Chartered Physiotherapist for over 15 years. In this time she has gained a wide variety of skills in treating an array of musculoskeletal conditions. From her experience she favours treatments such as hands on therapies (manual therapy), exercise rehabilitation, taping and acupuncture to relieve pain and restore function. She works with each client to individualise their management so that they can minimise the likelihood of symptoms returning. Dani’s Physiotherapeutic skills have developed from a combination of NHS, private hospital and private practice work. In both these work sectors Dani has worked closely with GP’s and Orthopaedic Consultants and has a wealth of experience rehabilitating patients after joint surgery, work related injuries and fractures. Her love of sport has led her to work with both professional and amateur rugby players to golfers and boxers to CrossFit athletes.
