‘ I made it to Baku’ !

That’s by bike from the UK - 5,800 miles! It’s taken him 116 days but he’s achieved his goal & flies back to the UK on Friday.

I think you should take some credit in his achievement for helping him after his ankle injury!
Thanks for all your help with the family - enabling us all to regain full strength! Tim is a fine example of what can be achieved with your expert advice & treatment plan.

Anne - Wrist Injury

Thanks for the information - my wrist held up when we went to Dorset, I did play 4 rounds of 18 holes but with no ill effects. Still stiff in the morning but it wears off after a while. My neck has improved as well since I am now back working occasionally. I am really pleased with my progress & I appreciate all your help with my treatment. If I need any more help I will be back in touch.

Dear Kirk

I cannot thank you enough for sorting me out. I have much admired your calm and professional approach to resolving my particular problem. And I shall keep going with the exercises!

Kevin Pietersen - England Cricketer

Kirk had been my physiotherapist, firstly with England from 2005 Ashes triumph through to our Ashes win in Australia in 2011 and then at Delhi Darevils in the IPL. I have always trusted his skill, knowledge and experience to give me the best standard of care. He is the best physiotherapist I would recommend him as someone who will work hard for you and get to the bottom of the problem and sort it out.

Belinda Gornall - Tennis player

I received excellent treatment from Kirk. I was impressed by the detailed appraisal and excellent advice. He taught me to walk correctly and which exercises would increase my mobility and strengthen my muscles. Two visits were sufficient to get me back on the right track and now I am back on the tennis court, playing at full strength. I am very grateful.

Matt Newman - Cambridge Half Marathon

Since I last saw you on 13th Feb things have been going well. I did my Marathon Indoor Row (a PB 2hrs 56 mins – av speed 2:05.6) Then it was back to preparation for the Cambridge Half Marathon. With 2 weeks to go I still hadn’t run outdoors……but in those last 2 weeks I managed 2x3 mile runs and 1x6 mile run. Meanwhile I was sticking to just about all your other advice / exercises. So on Sunday I wasn’t sure quite what to expect so was very happy to finish with a respectable (and PB) 1:30:15…and ever happier that my ankle seems to be OK too! Next plan is to ease back into running over the next few days and then get outdoors more often, but also continue following your strength / stretching advice as well. Marathon at the end of April is still on the cards for now…. So, many thanks for helping me achieve my goal.

Markus Gardner - Neck Injury

I started seeing Kirk after three years of problems with neck, shoulder and wrist. He took a detailed look at the issues surrounding something that was affecting my everyday life and seemed to instinctively understand the issues that needed to be addressed. He presented these in a way that I understood and could buy into. In short, he seemed to "get" my problem and me. He gave confidence that this was a problem that could be fixed and his approach backed this up.

Ted Roe - Rugby player

I was really worried about my neck from a rugby injury so I was recommended to see kirk, after my session with Kirk I felt very positive about my injury and it eased my worries. I took away some great advice and exercises. Very professional, friendly and delivers a sound service.

Linda - Running Injury

I was referred to Kirk by a consultant after being diagnosed with a stress fracture in my foot. Having been a runner for several decades who had never had a major injury, I wondered how it had happened. Kirk listened to me and took the time to investigate. He gave me good advice on protecting the foot while it was healing and preventing future injuries.

Pete Fox - Post Op Recovery

Kirk cared for me post operatively after surgery to help manage my symptoms of bilateral knee osteoarthritis. At the end of six NHS consultations and physiotherapy with Kirk this is what I consistently felt:

I understood the regime I needed to follow to improve my well being
Kirk was genuinely interested in me, and took time to understand my situation
He asked questions to further his understanding of my problems
I felt he always looked to go beyond the minimum he needed to do
He was compassionate and has a gift at putting you at ease
Kirk undertakes physical assessments and records his findings
I felt motivated to complete my regime to show improvement for the next consultation
He tries different things to see if they help
I never felt rushed
He has courage to suggest what the patient might not want to hear - for me at 56: a stick.
It felt the same seeing him in the evening as in the morning, after he had already seen many patients
I returned to him privately because I trust his judgement
