Since I last saw you on 13th Feb things have been going well. I did my Marathon Indoor Row (a PB 2hrs 56 mins – av speed 2:05.6) Then it was back to preparation for the Cambridge Half Marathon. With 2 weeks to go I still hadn’t run outdoors……but in those last 2 weeks I managed 2×3 mile runs and 1×6 mile run. Meanwhile I was sticking to just about all your other advice / exercises. So on Sunday I wasn’t sure quite what to expect so was very happy to finish with a respectable (and PB) 1:30:15…and ever happier that my ankle seems to be OK too! Next plan is to ease back into running over the next few days and then get outdoors more often, but also continue following your strength / stretching advice as well. Marathon at the end of April is still on the cards for now…. So, many thanks for helping me achieve my goal.
